This ex-designer fabric is a triacetate satin. Triacetate is a wood pulp fibre that goes through a chemical process. This one has a viscose/silky handle with an extraordinary sheen and eye-catching movement. Light to medium weight and so luxurious! Has a slightly crushed texture from a top-quality Japanese mill. This unique texture would look great as anything bias cut; we are thinking cowl neck slip dress or little slinky camisole!
Width: 140cm
Composition: 89% Triacetate + 11% Polyamide
Origin: Japan
Stretch: approximately 5% widthways stretch
We sell our fabrics in 0.5m increments. If you want to buy 2m of this fabric, please enter 4 into the quantity box. All orders will be cut as a continuous piece.
We try to take photos that are an accurate representation of our fabrics and their colours, but due to differences between devices and screens the colour may vary slightly. Unfortunately we are unable to offer samples as all of our fabrics are short run end of lines and will likely sell out by the time a sample is delivered. If you'd like to see a video of the fabric or more photos please send us an email or drop us a DM on instagram @newcrafthouse.
*As all of our fabrics are deadstock we can't always be sure of the exact composition. We've given our best educated guess above based on burn tests!
