This ex-designer fabric is a rich velvet. It has a very soft, dense woolly pile, with a sturdy canvas-like backing. Medium weight and a wonderful mix of structure and great drape. In a rich oatmeal shade. This is from a quality home furnishings company. Gorgeous for home interiors, we'd love to see this on an ottoman or chair!
