This ex-designer fabric is a silk faille. Faille is similar to a twill, but rather than running diagonal, the lines go straight across the fabric. It has a lightly textured and sturdy handle, and a lightweight with a great structure. Such a luxurious fabric with a great sheen. Opaque, with a nice crispness. It would be great for bridal!
