This ex-designer fabric is a georgette. Georgette is heavier than a chiffon, but still slightly sheer. It has a grainy crepe texture, and is a bit heavier than a typical crepe de chine. Lovely silky handle and such a beautiful drape. Would be perfect for a lining or flowy dresses, and great for scarves!
